Reedfur is my last cat according to the rules.
Name: Reedfur
Gender: Tom
Clan: SunClan
Position: Warrior
Appearance: Reedfur is a small(ish) tabby tom with soft turquoise-green eyes. His background color (the color under the pattern) is golden-yellow. Reedfur's pelt seems to melt into the grass, giving him an advantage in stalking.
Personality: Energetic and playful, Reedfur is all about having fun. He knows when to be serious, but likes to play-fight in his spare time. His friendly nature compels him to interact with others and usually makes the other warriors annoyed with him. He is a little paranoid about going into the open or being in plain sight (see history for details).
History: He was born in SunClan with his two brothers, Feralkit, a ruddy-brown tom, also the oldest and Ringkit, white with a black ring around his tail and on his ears, the second youngest of the lot, and his sister, Thymekit, gorgeous tortoiseshell with a white underbelly, chest, and paws. He would have had a second sister but she died shortly after birth before she could be named. Being the youngest of the bunch, he often provoked rude behavior from his older brothers. Feralkit was always the first to poke fun at Reedfur (Reedkit back then) when he made mistakes. Ringkit almost always got into trouble for going places he should not have gone, and usually dragged the rest of his siblings with him on his adventures. Unfortunately, because of this, Ringkit got himself nearly eaten by a hawk but was saved by his siblings before it could get away. Ringkit suffered a serious chest injury from one of the talons of the hawk which makes it harder for him to breath (like asthma in a way), and unfortunately Ringkit could not do some of the things other warriors could do in a heartbeat. The incident made Reedfur a little paranoid about being in the open for too long. They each got their warrior names all at once. There new names are Feraltooth, Ringtail, Thymeheart, and Reedfur. They each proved to be strong warriors with their own special talents. Feraltooth became deputy. He was very strong for his age but somehow it went to his head, making him aggressive and intimidating to other warriors. He also made lots of bad decisions and earned a poor reputation. Ringtail was excellent at diplomacy and a great speaker, and even though his injury prevented him from fighting, he could still hunt well. Thymeheart got more than her wish and became medicine cat. She made a good impression to the medicine cat by suggesting a remedy for soothing a nasty cough when passing by when the medicine cat didn’t even think of it beforehand. Reedfur’s skills in stalking surpassed most of the warriors when he was just an apprentice. He even was better than his mentor, Gorgefoot, at stalking before he learned anything. Despite his hunting skills, he was not the best of all fighters in the clan. One day Feraltooth led a patrol with Reedfur and a couple other warriors when they ran into some rogue cats in SunClan territory, a lot of them. Feraltooth, being aggressive, went after the rogues right away. Instead of giving them a chance to leave, he attacked. It was a fierce battle. Reedfur was severly injured and retreated back to camp, leaving a trail if blood in his wake. The next day he awoke in the medicine cats den with Thymeheart treating his wounds. She told him that the day he came back, Feraltooth was exiled from SunClan and never seen again. After that everything went back to normal in the camp and Reedfur’s wounds healed quickly. Reedfur found out from Thymeheart that they had won the battle but at too high a cost. Most of the patrol died but all on that patrol were gravely wounded.
Rp Example: Reedfur gave a nasty blow to the head of his attacker, throwing the rogue off his chest. SunClan seemed to be losing the battle. Why, brother… why try to kill them in the first place? he thought to himself, This wouldn’t have happened if Ringtail was in charge. He spotted Feraltooth chasing two scrawny rogues. This is not the time to be a bully, Feraltooth. He dodged as a she-cat flailed at him, screeching and spitting. He turned to face her and jumped onto her back as she lunged at him again. He sank his claws into her ragged pelt but was thrown off before he could get a good hold. As he struggled to get up she pinned him down and raked at his belly with her hind paws. He howled in pain, but he couldn’t lift her off. Suddenly she was hurled off of him as a SunClan cat rammed into her side. It was Feraltooth. He had a few scratches on his shoulder but he was mostly unharmed. As for Reedfur, he was bleeding freely from cuts on his flank and on his chest. Feraltooth barely had to fight the rogue she-cat before she was sent running like a mouse. Feraltooth turned back to Reedfur. “Mousebrain! You could have been killed! You don’t survive by lying on your back!” he said. Anger flooded through Reedfur. He’s treating me like a kit! Feraltooth grabbed a small rogue by the back and threw her into two others advancing on him.
“We wouldn’t have to fight if YOU hadn’t attack them, Feraltooth!” Reedfur retorted as he helped a nearby SunClan cat. “You’re a deputy! You’re supposed to think through things like this!”
“How do you know what a deputy should or shouldn’t do?!” growled Feraltooth. “I was thinking of the clan!”
Suddenly a huge rogue tom landed on Reedfur’s back, forcing him to the ground. The tom clawed the back of his neck, inflicting two large gashes into his neck. Reedfur tried to throw him off but he couldn’t. Blood ran freely from his wounds and the pain seared through his body. He felt claws pull out of his body as the great tom was hauled off of him by Feraltooth and another SunClan warrior. Reedfur felt as if a boulder was lifted from him, letting him breathe again. He got up but his legs were shaking. Feraltooth rushed up to his side. “Go back to camp, Reedfur. Your wounds are great and I don’t want to lose you.” Feraltooth’s tone was caring and more like a brother than a superior. Reedfur guessed that he had remembered the time where Ringtail was nearly lost. He shouldn’t blame himself for that. He thought to himself. Reedfur nodded his head in agreement. Reedfur gave his brother a quick look and set off. I feel like a coward, he thought, running away from a fight like this. But my brother’s right. It took longer than he thought to get back to camp and the loss of blood tired him greatly. By the time he crashed into camp, he collapsed. The clan was stunned but Thymeheart was the first to help him. “What happened to you, Reedfur?!” she cried, pressing cobwebs to his wounds.
Panting, he replied, “Rogues…inside…territory…Feraltooth…patrol…help them…” he spoke no more as he drifted away into darkness. He woke up inside Thymeheart’s den, cobwebs all over him. “Wha…?” he tried to sit up. Blinding pain shot through him and he fell back onto the bedding. “Thymeheart? Anyone there? Hello?” Thymeheart came trotting into the den.
“Your awake! Good!” she gave him a gentle lick on his ear. “I thought it would take you another day—“
“Thymeheart, what happened? Did we win? Is everyone okay?” Reedfur was anxious to know if Feraltooth came through the battle. At the mention of the battle, Thymeheart’s eyes filled with grief.
“What? He can’t have—not Feraltooth!”
“No, no no! It’s not that. Reedfur… Feraltooth was exiled from SunClan for engaging the battle.”
Reedfur gasped. “Wha—Why?!”
“Our leader said that this was the last. He would not tolerate anymore disloyalties from Feraltooth.”
Other: Reedfur seems to be able to jump very long distances, much longer than any normal cat.
