Icedawn struggled to breathe. Ice water filled her throat and froze her to the bone. She paddled with what strength she had left, but her paws just barely missed the shore.

Rosebracken leaped over to help Emberflame, tugging hard on Icedawn's scruff. When it didn't work she let go andthough for a moment. Then she had an idea. She jumped into the ice cold water without another though of how it might effect her. The freezing water hit her fur with a cold blast. Rosebracken gasped for air as the water knoked air from her lungs. Taking a long breath, she looked once up at the sky then dove down below Icedawn, and further toward the icy bottom. Finally reaching the bottom, Rosebracken turned, kicked, and paddled upward with all her might. She pushed up against Icedawn, forcing her onto the frozen ledge.

Icedawn shot out of the water, flying momentarily through the air. She landed on a hard patch of dirt and ice but felt almost nothing. Ice water sprayed from her jaws and she lay still.. Her eyes were half closed but she was awake. She tried to cough but her lungs were too cold and watery. She felt like a mass of ice and bone.

"Th-Thanks R-R-Rosebracken"She said through chattering teeth. She looked at Icedawn. She needed to be looked at.
"Ok Rosebracken" Emberflame mewed "Where can I find Culver's Root? And fast!"

((I'm back! sooo sorry for being gone so long, but i had school to do.))
Icedawn struggled to breathe but her lungs refused to stretch any further. She tried to wiggle her chest in hopes that she may release some of the water trapped in her, but nothing happened. Is this my fate? she thought, Will I die here? No disrespect to StarClan, but I don't want to die yet. Her eyes were growing cloudy as though invisible walls were closing in. No! I will not die today! She forced herself to stay awake, the clouds in her eyes moving away slightly.
