Secret Place

Oakstar Walked through the forest till she came to the Ice Cave. She crept inside, feeling the cool air on her pelt. She came into the cave room. In it hung Giant Icicles on the ceiling and floor. She wound her way around them and came to the back of the cave. It was pretty dark, but there was just enough light to see. She heard the dripping of water into the puddles on the ground. She walked farther down the back until, she saw a dark tunnel. She walked toward it. She crept inside, she walked for a long time in the dark until she saw some light. She walked faster. And appeared under a sheet of ice. She was under the Frozen Pond! She was under about 2 tail lengths of Solid ice. She could see faint shadows, and the sun, but it wasn't very clear. She was in a pit with dirt walls. She had discovered this place as a warrior. She never told anyone. She stayed there for most of the day until it started to get dark. She had to get to the main cave before the light was gone or she wouldn't be able to get out until morning. She quickened her pace and made it into the main cave. She could see the pinkish like of the Sunset.. She ran out of the cave and into the forest.

Rosebracken saw Oakstar appear from behind the sheet of ice that was a frozen waterfall. She padded up to her as the leader ran into the forest.
"Oakstar!" she mewed with much urgency, "We have been searching for you all day!" Rosebracken rubbed up against her close friend, feeling relif wash over her.

Oakstar stopped and turned around to face her deputy.
"Sorry, I was just on a walk. Why were you looking for me? Is something wrong?" she asked urgently.

"No" said Rosebracken "It was getting late and nobody knew were you were, and we needed you back because you said you would lead the afternoon border patrol." Rosebracken explained. "The warriors were worried and sent me out to find you."

Rosebracken followed behind, gazing back as the afternoon sky reflected itself on the waterfall.
